I Figured: Nine Days Into 2010, Why Not Sum Up 2009?

1. What did you do in 2009 that you’d never done before?
Made friends with a college student.

2. Did you keep your New Year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I do not make New Year resolutions for the reasons that I may forget them or will fail at them. I don’t ever want to disappoint so I just don’t make ‘em.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Nope.

5. What travels did you embark on this year?
Went to Arizona for Thanksgiving

6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
A date to prom…

7. What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
The date in June when I got my MacBook Pro.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Passing the college classes statistics AND economics when I had them on the same day one right after the other.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Failing the college class Mass Media when I had them the opposite days as stats and econ.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nope. Unless you count injury of the heart for Joe/y

11. What was the best thing you bought?
My MacBook Pro and iPod Touch

Uh…

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Joe/y’s, Jasmine’s, Aria’s, my dad’s.

14. Where did most of your money go?
What money?

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
My MacBook Pro!

Katy Perry’s “I Kissed A Girl” – Cody freaking out over it at the first dance of 2009-2010 school year and the boys singing it at the last or so dance of the 2008-2009 school year. ^_^

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:

i. happier or sadder? Uhm. I did this in 2010 so its a bit off… Let’s say: happier for Dec 2009 after Dec 2008. Better birthday party, better friendships with people, and better idea of what I will do with my life.

ii. thinner or fatter? Hahaha! Probably thinner. I haven’t been eating much which sucks…

iii. richer or poorer? Poorer… :’(

18. What do you wish you’d done more of?
Acting.

19. What do you wish you’d done less of?
Crying

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
Christmas 2009 was with the Old Youngs, Young Youngs, Grandma and Grandpa Young, Mom and Dad, Brother, Bird then the next day all but the bird went to Vacaville to eat with GreatGrandpa Joseph and his… ‘girlfriend’.

*cough*

23. How many one-night stands?
Zero. That is just WRONG.

24. What was your favorite TV program?
Heroes!!! I watched all three seasons within a month so that I would be prepared for season four premiering Fall 2009.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?

The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger

28. What did you want and get?
A laptop, got a MacBook Pro! Yessss!!!

A date to prom, Joe/y dumped me a few months before.

Star Trek

Hung out with friends in cabin 303 for a night. Texted Cody.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
No high school drama

Kyrièish? I don’t know. Well, I did start wearing a fedora and Michael Jackson clothes. But I kept my own style pantswise and hairwise and nomakeupwise… and yeah. :s

34. What kept you sane?
My books. But then we moved and they all got put into storage so my mind is crazy again. Bought a few new ones and they are sort of working. I think its just the fact that my book shelves are pretty much EMPTY that’s making me insane.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Michael Jackson, Zachary Quinto, Chris Pine

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Ban on gay marriage.

37. Who did you miss?
My dad’s side of the family, then we saw them in November!

38. Who was the best new person you met?
Cody. Really cu- ADORABLE, nice style, great personality, awesome interests, all-around perfect person. But he’s a freshman and I a senior so why did I EVER think of him that way?!?! DAMN ME!

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2009.
Ignorance is NOT bliss.

Made a few this year, actually. Kind of odd for me.

1. Stop being so in love with guys I can never have

Winter is HEEEEERE!!!

I was awakened by my bird this morning. My dad came into my room and placed Yoshi on my bed by my head and gave him a DVD to sing to. Yoshi started singing and… tapping on my nose. :s Yeah. Not fun when you are trying to sleep.

So I go up, got dressed and ready for school. My mom and I went outside TO THE SIGHT OF FROST! =D It made me happy even though the weathermen said it would snow Thursday night. We got to the van and my mom started to scrape the ice off her windows as I got comfy in my seat. I texted my brother (who has yet to reply):

“Its so cold here, moms van is frosty and i can see my breath!” -Fri, Nov 13, 7:36 am

And I COULD see my breath! It was awesome!

Anyway, my mom and I talked about my evil stats teacher and how stupid weathermen can be (if you read “Summer’s” posts, you will see that I am the mean one!).

More mean (in a funish way): Jazzy totally forgot that today is Friday the 13th!

The Kyriè Typewriter

So… Funny story to get to know more about me. This typewriter business started in Economics when Jazzy (Jasmine) and I were speaking about my Statistics homework (shut up! we are teenagers and we get distracted!). Jazzy is my personal stats tutor because I am the only stats student in my math support class (well, there’s Anders but he doesn’t count. He takes stats online and he’s like RARELY in class). Anyway, a brief summary of events follows this colon:

So I said to Jazzy in econ, “Danggit! I have stats homework to do!”

‘I can help you.’

“It’s not that I need help, it’s that I need to do it.”

‘I can help you with that!’

“You don’t write like me.”

‘Well… Trace paper! Write out all the letters of the alphabet and I’ll trace ‘em.’

“Good idea but we’re working with numbers.”

*she shifts her eyes* ‘Write out the numbers! Then *she makes a fliping noise and flips her hands over* OH NO! THEY ARE BACKWARDS! Hmm… *she thinks* I got it! write them all out, I will put them on stamps, make them small enough, and put them in a typewriter. It shall be the Kyriè Typewriter!’

Yeah… you should see what we were talking about before this! *took from my tweets*

We have to sign into class to show we were there…:

“just signed into class… made my name fancy… thought i was giving out am autograph. *headdesk*”

Didn’t QUITE understand what teacher was saying so this resulted:

“all this economics is going in one ear and out the other nose!”

Jazzy had moved her desk close to mine so I could use her book since I didn’t bring mine. At break, I needed to get out to go throw away the apple I finished… Jazzy got up to scrounge through her backpack just as I was about to ask her to move so I bolted for the trash can! Tossed the apple core, turned around to see Jazzy making her way over, so I ran over to block HER way! I did quite an impressive show of body guard to the trash can but then she made it around me and tossed her trash. We raced back to the desks…:

“killed my knee racing my friend from the trash can to our desks… I feel like an idiot running in a college class but OH WELL its FUN! “

THEN, Jazzy was getting more and more mad that she forgot the homework questions so decided to look at my packet for the questions:

“Stealing my answers?” -Me “No, your questions.” -Jazzy “THAT’S a new one!” -Me

And apparently Quinto is taking over the world…?
